Anything could come out of that egg!

The work was a commission designed for an exhibition Postcards from the Futuro at the Tourist information centre in Todmorden.

My intention was to explore the Futuro project in an archival way and also to learn something more about my process and the way I approach objects. The objects created here could be artefacts from another time, fragmented recollections. A 16 piece structure is reduced down to a simplified form - containing a dream of something. Reminiscent of the space age, a new technology designed to improve our lives and create a new future.
